If you can recover the lost tooth or fragment, place it in cold milk while you get in touch with your dentist. This can greatly improve the likelihood of the tooth being saved.
Depending on your situation, such as the severity of the emergency or whether your emergency occurred after hours, you may need to seek immediate care by calling 911 or visiting the emergency room. Otherwise, call our office and describe, in the best detail you can, what has happened. Our experienced team will help direct you through the next steps based on your individual needs.
